We carried out this extensive renovation with a family of five living on-site throughout. Disruptive work was scheduled around their holidays to minimise disruption as much as possible, and our team moved from room to room as needed. It was complicated, but we got there!
Our construction team built a 10 metre wide x 4m single-storey rear extension with bifold doors and four large rooflights. The new space blended into the existing, creating a new open-plan kitchen/diner with a fantastic snug area. We created a false chimney breast to house the TV and electric fire, as well as a new study and utility room. Underfloor heating was installed throughout the ground floor. The first-floor layout was re-configured to work with the family providing an additional ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom.
Working with top-quality local contractors and suppliers, we built bespoke wardrobes and under-stairs storage. We worked from a full interior design package, including all finishing details from decorating to bathroom refurbishments. The result? A complete overhaul that gave the house a new lease of life and the much-needed space for the family.
